July 9, 2011 - NWPC South Bay hosted over 20 elected officials in Hollywood Park for a fundraiser breakfast. Janice Hahn was presented with the Lillian Mobley Grassroots Catalyst Award for her active participation in the grassroots organizations of the South Bay communities.
The National Women's Political Caucus - South Bay Good Guy Awards
July 31st, 2010 - South Bay elected women honored outstanding men at the Good Guy Awards. The Good Guy Awards recognize men who have made an outstanding contribution on behalf of women in politics. These men support the partnership of Feminism in America and focus on female citizenship and equality for all.

Breakfast With Maxine - Health Care Reform
November 14th, 2009 - Over 170 guests attended this event, hosted by South Bay Chapter President Dr. Carmen Schaye and Inglewood Councilwoman Judy Dunlap. Elected officials and community leaders from all over the South Bay attentively listened to Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
